We're getting married in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula — and we want you there with us. Hacienda Chaka is a 17th-century estate surrounded by ancient stone arches, cenote gardens, and the warm golden light that only Mexico knows. We'll celebrate under the open sky, surrounded by pampas, citrus blossoms, and the people who matter most to us. From Canada to Jordan, from Mexico City to Dubai — our world is wonderfully scattered. This weekend is our way of bringing it together in one place. We can't wait to share this with you.

Friday, March 5 — Welcome Dinner [Venue TBD] · 7:00 PM Start the weekend right. Join us for dinner, drinks, and the first chance to finally meet each other across time zones. Saturday, March 6 — The Wedding Hacienda Chaka · Cholul, Yucatán Ceremony at 4:30 PM · Cocktail hour from 5:15 PM · Dinner & dancing until 1:00 AM Shuttles from [Hotel A] and [Hotel B] depart at 3:30 PM. Sunday, March 7 — Brunch & Beach Day [Venue TBD] · 11:00 AM A lazy Sunday before everyone heads home. Chilaquiles, agua fresca, and one more sunrise over the Gulf.
Garden formal. Think flowing linen dresses, light-coloured suits, breathable fabrics. Mérida in March is warm and beautiful — dress for it. Avoid white and black if possible; earth tones, cream, terracotta, sage, and dusty rose are our vibe. Ladies — heels may sink into grass during the outdoor ceremony. Wedges or block heels recommended, or bring flats to swap.
Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors? The ceremony is outdoors under a canopy at Hacienda Chaka. The reception dinner is under the hacienda's arched corridors and courtyard. What's the weather like in March? Warm, sunny, and dry — the best time of year in Yucatán. Expect 28–32°C during the day, cooling to ~22°C in the evening. No rainy season. Will there be transportation? Yes — we'll arrange shuttle buses from the main hotels. Details to follow closer to the date. Are children welcome? [Your choice — add your preference here.] Is there a gift registry? [Add registry link or preference.] Do I need a visa for Mexico? Canadian and most European passport holders enter Mexico visa-free. Jordanian and UAE passport holders should check current requirements. We're happy to provide an invitation letter if needed. I have dietary restrictions. What should I do?
